Led by Colombian pianist, composer, and arranger Óskar Ly, Rumbalú has performed at SFJazz, San Jose Jazz Fest, New Mexico Salsa Congress, Fillmore Salsa Fest, and the Afro-Latinx Festival, delivering an irresistible groove that gets bodies moving and hearts pounding.

who is óskar ly?
Óskar Ly is a GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY voting member, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, composer, bandleader and music producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, his music journey began when he was 9, being the 🎹 his first instrument.
A mostly self-taught artist, he also plays guitar, bass, melodica, accordion, and percussion. Currently, he is the director of Rumbalú.
Óskar has collaborated with Latin music superstars Tito Puente Jr., Roberto Blades, Nino Segarra, Chuchito Valdés, Nelson Rangell, Sal Cuevas (bassist of Fania All Stars), Karl Perazzo (Santana’s drummer), Richie Flores (Eddie Palmieri’s conguero), Dante Vargas (Marc Anthony’s trumpeter), Elías Tona (Al Di Meola's bassist), the Grammy award winning Pacific Mambo Orchestra, among other renowned artists.
